Seoul Glow Broccoli Tofu Bowl

Ingredients

  • 14 oz (about 400 g) broccoli florets
  • 6-9 oz firm tofu (1/2 package)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated or minced
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Boil salted water, add tofu and cook 3 minutes until softened. Remove and let cool.
  2. Add broccoli to the same boiling water, cook 3 minutes until tender-crisp and bright green. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. In a large bowl, squeeze excess water from tofu and crumble by hand. Add drained broccoli.
  4. Mix in 2 teaspoons salt, garlic, green onion, and sesame oil. Transfer to serving dish, top with sesame seeds, and serve. Too much garlic punch for you? No worries! Dial down the garlic and green onions to your taste. Amazing paired with fish, chicken, or meat—total crowd pleaser!
